Enterprise Services Community

Enterprise Services Community (ES Community) is a collaborative, cross-industry program that brings together thought leaders from diverse industries to share ideas and innovations in enterprise services. The community includes members from SAP, customers, and partners who jointly define enterprise services based on shared priorities.

ES Community provides a forum for identifying and defining the most high-value enterprise services required by customers, which are delivered by SAP and its partners.

Members can join definition and advisory groups aimed at addressing key business challenges within a particular industry or technology. These groups propose new enterprise services, review enterprise services offered by SAP, and provide feedback on best practices.

This collaboration yields a robust, constantly evolving set of enterprise services, which SAP then packages and makes available through the enterprise services repository in SAP NetWeaver. As a result of this collaboration, you will have use of a larger collection of enterprise services when composing business solutions that are more interoperable and customizable.

By participating in ES Community, you will be able to influence the definition of the enterprise services being created by SAP and its partners. ES Community provides the single channel for you to request enterprise services from SAP, and it serves as the single licensing mechanism for building solutions based on SAP's repository of enterprise services.
