2. Never fake a resume

Third, configuration skills are essential to consulting success. Without them, consultants cannot deliver value.

Finally, configuration skills are critical for consultants who work on large projects.

Without them, consultants would spend too much time chasing down errors and fixing issues that arise during implementation.

Fortunately, configuration skills are simple to acquire. And once received, they are compelling.

To develop configuration skills, consultants must understand the fundamentals of SAP software architecture. Then, they must learn to apply those principles to specific situations. Finally, consultants must practice using those principles until they become second nature.

Once consultants gain mastery of these three areas, they will be able to solve almost any problem.

Configuration skills are vital to your success regardless of what type of consultant you are, whether you are working with small businesses or global corporations.

They are the difference between being average and exceptional.
